This site collects longer pieces I have written and would like to share. It is not a blog; there is no comment section, no analytics, nothing that counts or ranks anything. Pieces are published when they are finished, which works out at roughly one a week.

Notes sit in the margin beside the sentence that summons them, rather than at the foot of the page or the back of the volume. On a narrow screen they open in place. In print they become proper numbered endnotes.

Everything here is written as plain markdown, and the site is a set of static files with no server behind it. There is a feed if you would rather not check back.
